Location

We are holding our ceremony and celebrations at The Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey, Skipton

Parking

There is plenty of parking available at the venue. You can leave your car overnight, just make sure that you collect by 10am on the morning after

Accessbility

The entire venue is single story with large doors to enter the venue and to access the private outdoor space. Accessible toilets are also available within the venue.

What Will The Weather Be Like?

This is England, so who knows what the weather will be like, however, typical weather for Bolton Abbey on our date is in the region of a high of 17C with lows of 10C. Whilst the festivities will all be conducted indoors there will be an outdoor area as well. There will be covers in the outdoor area in the event of rain. There will also be a firepit and flamed torches to provide light and heat if needed, plus you’ll get to toast marshmallows!

Does the Bar accept card / cash?

The venue bar is a CARD ONLY bar, cash is NOT accepted

To allow us to provide the wedding venue with final numbers & any special dietary requirements we ask that you RSVP by 4th May 2023

Are Children Welcome?

Of course, we would love to share our special day with all of our family and loved ones - including children. Please make sure you let us know when you RSVP how many children will be coming.

What If I Have Dietary Restrictions?

Please make sure you tell us of any dietary requirements for anyone in your party when you RSVP.

Ceremony

If you are joining us for the ceremony, please be aware of the following information

Arrival Time

Please arrive at the venue by 13:45 to enable us to seat you ready for the ceremony at 14:30

Dress Code

We ask that you dress in smart dress to help us celebrate our day in style

Can I Use Confetti

We will be providing confetti for everyone, but if you do wish to bring your own it must be fresh petals, due to restrictions at the venue.

Evening Reception

If you are joining us for the evening reception, please be aware of the following information

Start Time

We would ask you to join us at the venue at 19:30 so you are in time to see us have our first dance as a married couple at 19:45

End Time

The reception will end at midnight with the bar closing at 23:45.

Dress Code

We ask that you dress in smart dress to help us celebrate our day in style

Taxis / Getting Home

If you require a taxi to get you home after the event the venue strongly recommends that you pre-book your taxi as due to the rural location, short-notice availability can be very limited

Photographs

During The Ceremony

We would ask that you don’t take photographs during the ceremony - don’t worry we have a professional photographer taking pictures that we will share as soon after as we can :)

Any Other Time During The Day

We would love you to take photographs & videos throughout the rest of the day.
